How it Works
We know that reaching out for therapy can feel like one of the most intimidating and scary things a person can do. And yet also can be one of the biggest gifts you can offer yourself. Even if you’re not sure if you want to start therapy it’s okay to first start out with contacting us to set up a free phone consultation. In this first phone call we will get a chance to hear more about you and your current situation and you’ll get a chance to learn about us, connect with who we really are and better understand the therapeutic process. We’ve heard from many people that it actually feels good and hopeful to talk about what's going and reassuring to hear a competent and kind person on the other end.
After having your free phone consultation the next step is to set up a first session date and time. The unique structure of our practice being online lets you find the best time that works for you. That might mean meeting in a private office during your lunch hour, doing a session in your car, or meeting in the safety of your own home during hours that best work for you. All you need is an internet connection and a computer or phone.
Once the session time is confirmed you will be emailed two different forms; an intake and disclosure form. The intake is simply a bit more information about you and the disclosure form is more information about us, including things like confidentiality, our cancellation policy/fees etc.
We use HIPPA compliant video formats that are super easy to download and use and take payment through various online payment formats. We are so excited that you’ve found us and can’t wait to get to know you.
