The Christian Closet has a partnership with Affirming Therapy (a non-profit whose main goal is to raise funds for LGBTQ+ folks who can’t afford mental health services) where scholarships are given to those who can’t afford coaching and counseling. Our hope is that every single person who wants services is able to get them. We are unable to offer scholarships to every person who applies, but we are committed to helping as many people as possible. The cost of sessions is $185 a session and we ask that each client pays as much as they can making the scholarships available to more people. Other-words, the more you can contribute, the more people we can help with the money we’ve raised. If approved by the board of directors from Affirming Therapy you will receive the scholarship for a duration of 3 months. Please answer the questions below to assist us with the scholarship process.
Assistance is offered based on the urgency of the need, both therapeutic and financial, and is contingent upon available funds.
